Is It Possible That There Are Health Plusses In Tea?

Chinese tea has often been described as owning a wide range of good points, the most often used statement being it’s ability to encourage easy loss of weight. Indeed, there are a large number of “green tea pill” products on the market which claim to provide a large variety of weight loss benefits.

A study by researchers at the University of Kansas found that the chemical epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which is often found in Jasmine tea significantly reduced the downsides of smoking and a rich diet. EGCG is a powerful anti-oxidant which has been discovered in a large number of studies to have a whole host of health benefits including the inhibiting of the formation of cancer cells.
